Are meals included in tuition?
Yes! Nutritious meals and snacks are included with tuition. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which means all meals and snacks meet federal nutrition guidelines to help support your child's healthy growth and development. Our menus are thoughtfully planned to provide a variety of wholesome foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and milk. We also work with families to accommodate food allergies and other dietary needs whenever possible to help ensure every child can enjoy safe and nutritious meals.Do you offer tours of your facility?

STARS stands for Keystone STARS, Pennsylvania's Quality Rating and Improvement System for early learning programs. It recognizes child care centers that go above and beyond state licensing requirements by meeting higher standards for teaching, staff education, family engagement, and learning environments. Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts is a state-funded preschool program that provides free, high-quality preschool for eligible 3- and 4-year-old children. The program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten by helping them develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed in school. At Owl Hill Learning Center, Pre-K Counts classrooms are led by qualified teachers and follow a research-based curriculum in a nurturing, play-based learning environment. Children enjoy hands-on learning experiences while building confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. If your family meets the income guidelines, your child may qualify to attend at no cost. Our team is happy to help you determine eligibility and guide you through the application process.What are your teachers' qualifications?
Our teachers are passionate early childhood professionals who are committed to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive. Depending on their role, our teaching staff hold degrees or credentials in Early Childhood Education or related fields and participate in ongoing professional development throughout the year. Teachers in our Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts classrooms meet the qualification requirements established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, including appropriate certification or education, and receive regular coaching and training to ensure high-quality instruction. In addition, all Owl Hill Learning Center staff: - Complete comprehensive background clearances before employment - Are certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR - Complete annual health and safety training and ongoing professional development - Participate in regular training on child development, curriculum, health and safety, and best practices in early childhood education - We believe that exceptional teachers are the foundation of an exceptional early learning experience, and we invest in their continued growth so they can provide the highest quality care and education for every child.What is the teacher-to-child ratio?
For our 2-year-old classrooms, the ratio is 1 teacher per 6 children. For our 3-5-year-old classrooms, the ratio is 1 teacher per 10 children.How do I enroll my child?
Getting started is easy! Contact us to schedule a tour, complete an enrollment application, and submit the required paperwork. Our team will guide you through every step of the process and answer any questions along the way. If space is available, we'll work with you to find the best start date for your family.Is there a waitlist?
Yes, some of our classrooms may have a waitlist depending on your child's age and the time of year. We encourage families to join the waitlist as early as possible, especially for our younger age groups and Pre-K Counts program. There is no obligation to join the waitlist, and we'll contact you as soon as an opening becomes available.Can I schedule a tour?
Absolutely! We encourage all prospective families to visit our center, meet our teachers, and see our classrooms in action. Tours are available by appointment and are a great opportunity to learn more about our programs, ask questions, and experience what makes Owl Hill Learning Center special.What ages do you serve?
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of children from 2 years old through 5 years old, helping them build the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten and beyond. Program availability may vary by location. Over the summer months, we offer various camps for children ages 2-12.Do you have part-time or full-time enrollment options?
Yes! We offer both full-time and part-time enrollment options to meet the needs of busy families. Availability may vary by classroom and location, so please contact us to learn more about the options currently offered.Can my child start at any time during the year?
In many cases, yes! If space is available, children may enroll throughout the year.
